Medical insurance

Medtronic provides employees and their dependents with comprehensive medical insurance coverage. It covers medical care and services including in-patient, outpatient, wellness check-ups, and dental treatment. 

Life insurance

Medtronic provides life insurance which is 100% Medtronic paid. In the event of death, a lump sum benefit of 3x Annual Base Salary, up to $1 million USD, will be paid out to the designated beneficiary.

Home leave allowance

Medtronic provides non-Qatar national employees with the equivalent cost of tickets for the employee, their spouse and up to three dependent children once per year to visit their home country (as defined in the employees passport). Employees who are Qatar nationals will receive an annual travel payment, which is a fixed cash amount. 

Housing allowance

Housing allowance is paid to all employees on a monthly basis.

Schooling allowance

Medtronic provides schooling allowance to employees for up to three children attending school in Qatar.

Transportation allowance

Transportation allowance is paid to all employees on a monthly basis.

Meal allowance

Meal allowance is paid to all employees on a monthly basis.
