Medical insurance

Medtronic offers all employees a complementary medical insurance plan. Employees can opt for this plan to enhance their coverage and access a broader network of medical providers, in addition to the basic medical insurance provided by social security. This plan also allows employees to include their spouse and children.

International medical insurance

Medtronic offers employees an international plan to expand your coverage and network of medical providers in addition to the private complementary insurance and basic local health plan provided by social security. Employees in levels 54 and above are eligible.

Life insurance

Medtronic provides security and peace of mind to the employee’s family in the event of the employee’s death or total disability. Medtronic contributes 100% of the cost of this benefit.

The life insurance includes the prepayment of capital in those cases in which the employee becomes permanently disabled.

Recreational activities

At Medtronic we carry out recreational activities such as celebrations of the monthly birthdays of our employees, celebration of Dominican Independence Day, Labor Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Diversity Day, celebrations for obtaining excellent results in audits and our Annual Christmas Party sharing gifts for each occasion.

Medtronic offers all employees the benefit of payroll deductions for preferential discounts on gym memberships where the company has corporate memberships. Employees can also include their dependents in this benefit.
