Group medical insurance
Group medical insurance covers medical expense that arises due to an Illness. It covers inpatient hospitalization and outpatient treatment expenses as per policy T&C. The default benefit is the mandatory minimum coverage employees will be enrolled in. The default Medical Plan is Employee, Spouse, and 2 Children per family. Declaration of dependents is mandatory to avail of the benefit for them under the default plan.
Group personal accident insurance
Group personal accident insurance provides financial coverage against unforeseen events of death or Injury due to accidents. The default benefit is 2 times Annual salary. Only the employee is covered under this benefit.
Group life insurance
Group life insurance provides a lump sum payment to the employee’s nominated beneficiary in the event of death due to natural causes, illness or accident. The default benefit is 2 times Annual salary. Only the employee is covered under this benefit. This benefit plan also offers critical illness cover, but the eligibility for critical illness cover is dependent on your medical underwriting decision.

Gratuity
Medtronic Bangladesh contributes 10% of basic salary to the Provident Fund and 8.33% of basic salary to the Gratuity. This is payable when an employee leaves the services of the company after completion of a minimum of 10 years.
