Medical insurance

Medtronic Austria offers group medical insurance to regular and temporary employees. Employees can choose to join this insurance voluntarily. The insurance premium will be paid by employees, who will benefit from advantageous group rates on the market.

Accident insurance

Accident insurance covers both work and non-work related accidents and is 100% Medtronic paid. Coverage is offered to all employees, starting on the first day of employment and is valid worldwide 24/7.

Life insurance

Life insurance is offered to regular and temporary employees and is 100% Medtronic paid. The benefit covers a lump sum x1 annual salary.

Vaccinations

Vaccinations which are required as part of an employees role can be reimbursed.

Employee Stock Purchase Plan

As a Medtronic employee you can avail of the Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP), where you can purchase Medtronic stock each calendar quarter at a discounted rate. It is an opportunity to share in the success of Medtronic.

Medtronic will reimburse a portion of the cost of VDU glasses for applicable employees, as required by law.

Green mobility

Green Mobility financially supports office-based employees on their commute between the Medtronic Vienna office and home.  It is a co-payment ticket model that aims to increase the use of public transport between the office and an employee’s home.
